Paint & Epoxy Remover is an Industrial strength cleaner that
was designed to do the impossible jobs. With its high flashpoint and low
toxicity, it replaces halogenated compounds like DMG, acetone, chlorofluorocarbon,
freon, 1,1,1-trichloroethylene, and methylene chloride.
Screenpro's
Paint & Epoxy Remover is essentially non-corrosive and a very stable
chemical under normal conditions. It has outstanding cleaning ability at
room temperature, boils at 395 F, freezes at -12 F and has a closed cup
flashpoint of 199 F. P&ER is completely miscible with water and most
organic solvents, including alcohols, ethers, ketones, aromatic and chlorinated
hydrocarbons, and vegetable oils. A slight color is normal.

Screenpro's
Paint & Epoxy Remover is a hybrid solvent that is designed to remove
urethane foam and coatings from molds, ink from printing equipment, and
grease from metal. Also cleans rubber and plastic molding equipment. Aggressively
attacks vinyl, epoxy adhesives, polyester, nylon and viton, and removes
oil, carbon and smut. In the electronics industry, P&ER removes flashing
type compounds, solder mask and solder paste associated with printed circuit
boards. P&ER will also remove
multiple layers of cured powder coating instantly when heated.
Screenpro's
Paint stripper and Epoxy Remover removes powder coating. When the epoxy
remover is heated, its cleaning ability is accelerated
100 times, reducing cleaning time enourmously.

P&ER should be used as
received; however, it can also be diluted with water.
P&ER should be
used at temperatures between 70 and 85 F. However, accelerated cleaning
can be achieved by heating to 150 F. P&ER is safe for use with equipment
constructed of polyethylene and polypropylene.
Screenpro
P&ER can be wiped on with a cloth or applied directly to the surface
being cleaned with a spray bottle. Allow it to soak for 45 to 90 seconds,
then rinse with a water spray or wipe with a damp cloth. For production cleaning, a Screenpro
Auto Washer, wash out sink or dip tank is available.
Although human patch tests indicate the material
is mild to the skin, repeated or prolonged skin contact should be avoided.
We strongly recommend the use of gloves and safety glasses while using
this product. It is a severe eye irritant and should not be ingested. Inhalation
tests indicate no special hazard. Normal good practices for handling all
chemicals to avoid unnecessary exposure should be followed.
Cover all other nearby painted or finished
surfaces with heavy paper or cardboard. Accidental spillage or spraying
will result in stripped or marred surfaces.
P&ER is shipped in 55 gal. (460 lb) drums and 4 gallon cases.
P&ER is a stable compound but it is
dygroscopic.
Therefore, shipping and storage containers should be stored in a dry area,
sheltered from the weather, between 50 and 90 F. Some discoloration may
occur with long term storage. Shelf life is 6 months.
P&ER is drain safe out of the bottle.
When combined with toxic products it is no longer drain safe and must be
disposed of as hazardous waste. Screenpro
